You have 60 seconds to reconnect, and play resumes on your remaining clock. If you do not reconnect in time you forfeit and your opponent takes the pot.

A game abandoned within the first 2 moves is voided and both stakes are refunded in full. After that point, an abandoned game is a forfeit like any other.

Both stakes are returned in full, with nothing deducted. Stalemate, insufficient material, threefold repetition and the fifty-move rule are all detected automatically.

No. Once both stakes are in escrow the game runs to a result. You can resign, which settles the pot to your opponent.

Every game has a full replay, stored on both players' public profiles. That is what makes a fairness review possible after the fact.

Every rated game is analysed for engine-level move quality and inhuman timing patterns, and device and session signals are checked for multi-accounting. Flagged cases are reviewed by a person against the full replay before any action is taken.

Winnings are reversed and, for repeat or clear cases, the account is closed. Money taken from players by cheating is returned to those players, not kept by the platform.

It is difficult by design. You cannot pick your opponent, repeat pairings and one-sided results between the same accounts are flagged, and the ledger makes net value moving between accounts visible. Deliberately losing to shift money closes every account involved.

No. ChessLeaders holds the escrow and records the result. It never takes a side, sets odds, or has any interest in who wins a given game.

Every movement of money is written as a matching pair of ledger entries, so credits always equal debits and balances cannot drift. Escrow is a real account in that ledger, not a flag on a row.

Report it from the match replay, or email support with the game link. Because the full game is recorded, a review looks at actual moves and timings rather than either player's account of it.

Yes. Set a daily cap in your account settings. Lowering it applies immediately; raising it takes 24 hours to take effect, so the decision is never made in the moment.

You close your account to play and deposits for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or permanently. Once confirmed it cannot be reversed or shortened, by you or by support. Your remaining balance stays yours and can be withdrawn.

Your username, country, rating, match results and replays. Never your email address, payment details or deposit receipts.

Contact support. Because profiles and leaderboards are public and tied to match history, changes are limited rather than instant.
